Galeries d'Anjou is a
shopping mall located in the Anjou borough ofMontreal ,Quebec ,Canada . Current major tenants includeThe Bay , Sears,Zellers andThe Brick furniture store. It is roughly 1 million square feet (90,000 m²).Opened in
1968 , its original anchors were the department stores Simpsons and Eaton, the supermarkets Steinberg and Dominion, and a movie theaterFamous Players .The mall was expanded in
1976 to make room for an additional wing including the arrival of the current Sears. Part of this expansion happened on the space of the former Famous Player movie theater that had closed and been demolished the year before. Thus far, this is the only expansion the mall has had in its history.Les Galeries d'Anjou is one of Cadillac Fairview's four self-branded "Fashion centres" that also include the
