Fantastic'Arts

Fantastic'Arts is an international festival of the fantastic film which is held each year since 1994 in Gérardmer in the Vosges, France towards the end January. It replaced an earlier film festival which was held in Avoriaz.

To begin with, it was called "Fantastica" before assuming its current name stressing the artistic as well as the fantastic side of the festival. Each year some celebrities form a jury to adjudge the contesting films, as well presenting their own work, such as the writer Bernard Werber, who comes each year to Place du Tilleul at the centre of the town.
