John Berrigan

John Berrigan

John Berrigan was an Irish soccer player during the 1950s.

Berrigan joined the then amateur Bohemians in the League of Ireland from Liffey Wanderers and made his debut for the club against Longford Town in the FAI Cup on February 18 1951 [Bohemian FC match programme, Vol. 54, no. 16] . He played at inside forward in that game but played the majority of his 78 competitive games for Bohs as a left half. During the 1953/54 season, he left the Gypsies and signed for Pearse Rangers.

John died at the age of 75 in late 2000.
