Database (Super Robot Wars)

The Database, also known as The Scribes of Knowledge, are fictional aliens in the Super Robot Wars series. Their only appearance was in Super Robot Wars W, where they were revealed to be the main antagonists.

Physiology

At first glance, members of the Database look completely human; however, this is just a ruse. Most of them are actually computer programs using artificial bodies, similar to the 11 Planetary Masters of Sol from The King Of Braves GaoGaiGar Final. As such, they can have new bodies built on demand, and can seemingly live forever.

Homeworld

It is not revealed what the Database's homeworld looks like, let alone a homeworld at all. What is known is they reside on the dwarf planet Pluto for most of the events in Warning.

Hierarchy And Government

The Database is lead by Inference, the recorder of knowledge, who is assisted by Critic and Regulate in maintaining the Master System, which helps to keep them alive. Their military forces are led by Applicant, while their field commander is Aria Advance.

Military

Most military units of the Database are AI-equipped, or, when not possible, are piloted by Deceivers, clones of pilot Aria Advance.

Religion

Being computer programs, members of the Database shy away from religion and focus on the one thing that can truly be grasped by mortal hands: science.

Technology

Given that the Database most likely began 15 billion years ago by an unknown civilization, their technology is some of the most advanced that have appeared in any Super Robot Wars game, possibly eclipsing Balmarian, Zuvorg and Fury technology. Their machines are very powerful, given that the Database is one large mainframe, and can continuously create more units with little materials, while producing maximum efficiency and results.

Enemies

Currently, the Database does not have any known enemies, though they have been known to assist other organizations, such as the Galra Empire from Hundred Beast King GoLion and the 11 Planetary Masters Of Sol, only turning on their supposed "allies" when enough information has been compiled about them.

Connection To The Original Generation Universe

As of now, the possibility of the Database to appear in a future Original Generation game is questionable. If they do appear, it is possible the Database would be the "ancient enemy" of the "ancestor race". If that is the case, then the Balmarian Spirit Emperor, Keisar Ephes, would have fought against them, but failed.
