Sid Borgia

Sid Borgia (died 1999) was a professional basketball referee in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1946 to 1964 and later was the league's supervisor of officials from 1964 to 1966.

Hawks team owner Ben Kerner demanded that Borgia be fired and Borgia never officiated another NBA game.

Sid Borgia was married for 54 years and had 5 children, 2 of which also became NBA referees.
