The shell of this species is laterally compressed, with a high arched dorsal area, the tricordate and fasciole forming a high ridge. There is a pronounced taper towards the anterior end, which has a very shallow sinuation. The shell sculpture is finely fenestrated, the radials being slightly stronger than the axials. The shell margin is delicately crenulated.
The external shell coloration is pale brownish and the interior of the shell is porcellaneous-white.
The maximum shell height is 8 mm, width 13 mm, and length 21.5 mm.
