Richard Curwin was born on
May 25 ,1944 inCambridge, MA and grew up inBrookline, MA where he attendedBrookline High School . He received his B.A.in English atUniversity of Massachusetts Amherst . He got his MA in Education atBoston State College (now known asUniversity of Massachusetts Boston ) and then returned to University of Massachusetts in Amherst, where he received hisEd.D .
