Aerfort na Minna Airport codes|NNR|EICA, often known as "Connemara Regional Airport" in English, is located at Inverin, in the Connemara region, 27 kilometres (17 miles) west of the city of Galway. The airport is the base for Aer Arann Islands, a division of Aer Arann. Aer Arann Islands operate Britten-Norman Islander aircraft to the Oileáin Árann of Inis Mór, Inis Meáin and Inis Oírr off the coast of County Galway, Ireland.

Accidents and incidents

On 5 July 2007 a Cessna 208 crashed on approach to the airport due to rough weather conditions, killing two and injuring seven. The plane was a charter plane, not belonging to Aer Arann, and was returning from a day trip to Inis Meáin.
