He is an Iraq war veteran with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. He's being treated by Dr. Lainey Winters. The character has also crossed over to General Hospital, where it was revealed that he's a former army buddy of Cooper Barrett, with a vendetta against Logan Hayes. Cody is portrayed by Graham Shiels. Cody went to Prison for the murder of Dr. Lainey Winters' father, Roger, who suffered from Alzheimer's Disease. This was at the request of Lainey, as he was terminally ill. On July 21, 2008, he returned to Port Charles after being acquitted of the charges after hiring Diane Miller.
He has recently taken a job working for Jason Morgan as a bodyguard for his accountant Bernie and a spy to watch Russian mobster Andre Karpov.
