Australia n Women'sBasketball League (WNBL ) team based in Perth,Western Australia .Healthway (Drug Free) is the current naming rights sponsor for the Perth Lynx.The current team roster for the 2007-08 season is Melinda Bartlett, Carly Wilson, Emily Fielding, Ainsleigh Sanders, Bindi Foote, Narelle Henry, Jasmine Finnigan, Melissa Marsh, Christine Boyd, Kaye Tucker, Elizabeth Cooke, Natalie Love, Emma Berryman, Deanna Smith, Hannah Bowley and Crista Hays.
History
Originally formed as the Perth Breakers in
1988 , and were quite successful under that moniker. The Breakers appeared in the WNBL finals from1991 -1996 , winning a championship in1992 . After missing the finals in1997 , the Breakers appeared in three more finals campaigns over the next three years.
