JSTAR is a remixer and DJ from UK, who has been releasing 7" vinyl wordwide since 2003. [http://www.myspace.com/jstarmusic] Often known as bootlegs or mashups, the records are more like remixes as more detailed musical work is often involved in them. Musically the mixes are drawn from Jamaican reggae and US hiphop, though JSTAR has used a variety of sources for the remixes
Other well known remixers in this area are Go Home Productions, Mr Blennd, Nice UP!, Lou and Placido
