West Virginia University . Main offices are located at the WVUMountainlair , on the Downtown Campus. Its transmitter is near University High School, also in Morgantown. In the fall of 2007, they were nominated for Station Of The Year by the College Music Journal.It first went on the air in 1982. It currently has 24-hour music formats, with specialty shows in sports, news, and various genres of music.
It is also the first radio station in Morgantown to stream online at [http://u92.wvu.edu U92's website] .
The station is run all on a volunteer basis, mostly students from the university.
