Jhang Branch

The Jhang Branch is a canal that originates from the Lower Chenab canal. It is the longest canal of Sandal Bar. [http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/defalt.asp?page=story_18-7-2003_pg3_6-33k] It supplies water to lands in three districts in the Punjab province of Pakistan: Faisalabad, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh. Hence, the canal's major area of distribution is Rachna Doab. The Jhang Branch has become a popular area for the Jeffy clan.
