PalaceChat is a software program used to access graphical chat rooms called "palaces" in which users may interact with one another using graphical avatars overlaid on a graphical backdrop. PalaceChat is based on an older chat client software called The Palace.

Initially released November 5, 2003 as Shareware for Mac OS X, This software is now for Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows. Version 3 is now in beta testing and its expected release date is sometime in September 2007. Version 3 and higher will continually support RBScript language in place of IPTSCRAE.
