History
The club was founded in
1946 as "Turn- und Sportverein Aindling-Todtenweis" and in1956 merged with "TSV Pichl".The clubs first rose out of Schwaben area football in 1982 when they won the
Bezirksliga Schwaben-Nord and were promoted to theLandesliga Bayern-Süd (V) where they made an immediate impact with a second-place finish. They took part in a promtion playoff for the Bayernliga (IV) promotion play-off but failed to advance and were eventually relegated to theBezirksoberliga Schwaben (V). The club again gained promotion from the Bezirksoberliga to the Landesliga Bayern-Süd (V) in 1992 on the strength of a second place finish. A second place result at that level in1996 then earned the team promotion to theOberliga Bayern (IV) where they still play today, generally earning mid-table results."TSV" qualified for play in the
DFB-Pokal (German Cup) in2003 and2004 , but went out early on both occasions against Bundesliga sides. In 2003, they wonthe Bavarian Cup with a 14-0 victory over "TSV Gerbrunn" and made a losing appearance in the next year's final versusJahn Regensburg II.Reserve team
"TSV Aindling" is one of the few clubs in Bavaria to field three senior teams, one in the Bayernliga (IV), one in the Bezirksliga Schwaben-Nord (VII), and the third team in the A-Klasse Schwaben-Aichach (X). To field a third team, the club needed special permission from the Bavarian FA.
The "TSV Aindling II" is playing in the Bezirksliga Schwaben-Nord since 2003, finishing 7th in this league in the 2007-08 season.
