Kamakura-Kōkō-Mae (鎌倉高校前駅) is an unmanned station in
Kamakura, Kanagawa . Though small in size, it is known for its scenic beauty it commands from the station platform, with an open view of the ocean and Mt Fuji afar. It was selected as one of the "100 Top Station in the Kanto Region" (Kanto no eki 100 sen) by a selection committee commissioned by the ministry of transport in 1998.Lines

The station and its vicinity are often chosen for filming of TV dramas and commercials in Japan. A small station in front of the sea is a quintessential landscape of the Shonan region, and has been immortalised in a number of visual productions. The neighbourhood is a serene residential area.
