Schwarz Brüder is a fictional character in the anime and manga "Mobile Fighter G Gundam".

Basic personality

Schwarz is G Gundam's masked-man, representing the space colony of Neo Germany. A master of German Ninjutsu, Schwarz has near-magical powers of stealth and deception; he can appear and disappear at will, disguise himself with ease, and confound his foes with illusions and Ninja trickery. Fortunately for Domon Kasshu, this mysterious fighter seems to be on his side, appearing at key moments to protect Domon from danger and teach him the discipline of a true warrior.

Biography

Schwarz first appeared in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo after Master Asia revealed to former pupil Domon Kasshu that he was aiding the Devil Gundam. After the Devil Gundam withdrew from Japan, Schwarz defeated Domon in an unofficial Gundam Fight to prove to Domon how lacking his skills were. He challenged Domon to learn to use a rusty sword to slice apart trees as a way to activate the Super Mode of his Shining Gundam. When Domon decided to train in South America's Guyana Highlands, Schwarz maneuvered Domon's fellow members of the Shuffle Alliance to come to Guyana and train with him. When the Devil Gundam reappeared in the Guyana Highlands, Schwarz was severely injured while trying to protect Domon from Master Asia. After Domon defeated the Devil Gundam, Schwarz appeared in Neo Hong Kong alive and well for the Gundam Fight Finals. As the Finals continued, Schwarz was the first to discover that Wong Yun Fat had secretly transported the Devil Gundam to Neo Hong Kong with the intention of resurrecting it.

As the Finals neared their end, Schwarz was assigned to fight Domon's God Gundam in the final match before the Battle Royale. While Domon was able to counter Schwarz's Sturm Und Drang with his own Sekiha Tenkyoken, Wong's treachery caused Schwarz to be mortally wounded. After the match, Domon was shocked to see that the unmasked Schwarz looked identical to his brother Kyoji, the pilot of the Devil Gundam. In a hospital, Rain Mikamura learned the truth about Schwarz and Kyoji. Earlier in the tournament, the Devil Gundam defeated the real Schwarz. Using the last of his free will, Kyoji used the DG Cells to turn Schwarz's corpse into an android modeled after himself, assigned him to protect Domon and watch over him. During the Battle Royale on Lantao Island, the Gundam Spiegel was destroyed when Schwarz faced the Devil Gundam for the last time before dying himself when Domon used God Gundam to deliver the deathblow on the Devil Gundam.

Trivia

Schwarz Brüder is one of many people in the Gundam universe who takes after Char Aznable, It is also a common theme for the "Char Clone" to be usually shrouded in mystery and wears a mask or sunglasses. Sometimes this person is the father, brother, former lover, etc. of the female lead or main protagonist.

His ultimate attack is Sturm Und Drang (Storm and Impulse, name taken from a German cultural and philosophical movement from the late 1700s), where he spins Gundam Spiegel around like a top, blades extended, and smashes into his enemy over and over again.

Schwarz Bruder's name in German literally translates to 'Black Brother'. For any viewers that could understand German, this may have been included as a clue to his identity.

Recently Schwarz has be come some what of an Internet meme on YouTube, Starting with a video titled "G Gundam's Schwarz Bruder" it Depicts Schwarz defeating Domon very easily just by saying his name due to how crazy it is. Fan videos and Mentions of it on other videos of the Meme have also been created, thus leading the making of various spin-offs, such as one where Schwarz starts thinking Everything is Hyper and one where his weakness is discovered to be just saying his true Identity, Kyoji. Another Spin-off created by the Original makers have been 2 Flash Videos that were on Newgrounds for awhile and a Manga taking place in between the videos of main series. The Makers of the Schwarz Series have also said if the Series becomes Successful enough then they will create a main site for the series including games, trivia, bonus videos, the manga, a forum, and various merchandise.
