Gunnar Nielsen (born 7 October 1986 in the Faroe Islands) is a Faroese footballer, currently playing for Motherwell on loan from Blackburn Rovers. He is a goalkeeper. He is currently the fourth choice goalkeeper in the Blackburn squad.

Club career

Nielsen was signed by Blackburn Rovers for a "small" but undisclosed fee on 2 July 2007 from BK Frem.
