Alex Newport

Alex Newport is a record producer and mixer. He has produced and/or mixed records for bands such as Mars Volta, The Pressure, Two Gallants, Death Cab For Cutie, Piebald, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Knapsack, Polysics, At the Drive-In, Dead To Me, The Melvins, Sepultura, System Of A Down, Argonaut, Taint and Brazil. He also founded two bands, Fudge Tunnel and Theory of Ruin and co-founded with Max Cavalera from Sepultura the industrial band Nailbomb. He likes to fly kites. He is originally from United Kingdom, but now he now lives in New York City with his dog Joon and his cat S.N.O.E.E.
