Drivers Championship
Points were awarded 30-27-24-21-19-17-15-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2 based on the top twenty race round positions. Round positions were decided by applying the same points structure to each of the two races and ranking the totals. In the event of two or more drivers have the same points, they were ranked by finishing order in the second race.
