Central American Revolutionary Workers' Party
- Central American Revolutionary Workers' Party
The Central American Revolutionary Workers' Party or "Partido Revolucionario de los Trabajadores Centroamericanos" (PRTC) is one of the five organizations which make up the Marxist-Leninist political party "Farabundo Martí para la Liberacion Nacional" (FMLN).
However, between 1980 and 1992, before peace accords were signed, these groups were terrorist organizations fighting against the Salvadoran government. The PRTC took responsibility for the 1985 Zona Rosa attacks on June 19 1985, which resulted in the murder of thirteen people, including four United States Marines and two American businessmen in El Salvador.
