Hindmotor

Hindmotor is a small town of Hooghly District, West Bengal, India, situated on the western bank of the river Ganges. The town is popular because of Hindustan Motors Ltd. (HML) situated in the area since 1948. Part of the manufacturing sites of HML also belongs to neighboring Uttarpara and Konnagar. It is only about 22 km. away from Central Calcutta.
