Jakob Senneby

Jakob Senneby (b.1971 in Stockholm) is an artist who is researching into functions of networked media as organizational tool for participatory production. His work spans from investigating the avatar, the peer and identity in distributed systems, to larger scaled community organisations.

Jakob Senneby graduated (MFA) from The Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm 2004 and has shown his work at institutions in both Sweden and internationally.

In 2001 he co-founded the collaborative project Abnormalaudio as a platform for experiments with audio and new-media.

In 2004 he initiated the collaborative project "Value creation in and beyond virtual communities, exploring possibilities of using on-line worlds as an arena for art production.

Since 2005 Jakob Senneby works collaboratively together with artist Simon Goldin in the framework [http://www.goldinsenneby.com Goldin+Senneby(G+S)] .
