Major League Baseball all-time managerial wins

This is a list of the Top 15 MLB career wins by a manager.
[through completed September 28, 2008 games; 2008 record in parentheses]

Due to their length of service, seven of the top ten also appear in the top ten in losses. Mack, who managed the Philadelphia Athletics for 50 years, is by far the all-time leader in both wins and losses. Bucky Harris is in second place for losses. La Russa is in third place and could surpass Harris in 2009. Gene Mauch is in fourth place with 2,037. McGraw is in fifth place; Cox sixth; Torre seventh, close behind Cox; Casey Stengel is eighth with 1,842; Anderson is ninth; Bill McKechnie is tenth with 1,723 losses.
