Paul Paton (born 18 April 1987 in Paisley) is a professional footballer currently playing for Partick Thistle.

The right back, despite attracting interest from higher level clubs decided to stay at Hampden with Queen's Park during the season 2007-08. His displays at the back were key in Queen's winning promotion to Division Two and he scored the goal which gave Queen's the lead in the Second Leg of the playoff final at New Bayview, the goal which effectively ended the Fifers' hopes of promotion.

Paton signed for Partick Thistle in May 2008 on a three year contract.
