Lawton was appointed Chair of UNICEF Canada's Unite For Children, Unite Against Aids campaign in November 2005. Her campaign initiatives include producing the Unite Against AIDS Concert series [ [http://www.uniteagainstaidsconcert.ca/ Unite Against AIDS Concert ] ] as well as UNICEF’s first Canadian art tour and auction, “Unite With Art”. These events raise funds for UNICEF as well as consciousness around HIV/AIDS and how it has redefined childhood for millions of children worldwide.
