Werner Rademeyer

Werner Rademeyer

Werner Rademeyer was a Namibian cricketer. He played for the team during 2001.

Rademeyer participated in a tour of Namibia by Marylebone Cricket Club during March 2001, playing four games in the five-game series. Though he did not bat on his debut performance, he made a moderate show during his first attempt at the crease, despite falling for fourteen runs. He played steadily, if unspectacularly, through the rest of the tour, taking one wicket in each of the final two matches, in which he tried his hand at bowling for the first time in the national side.

Two weeks later, Rademeyer was to play in a game for Namibia against a touring Scotland XI, the Namibians losing by three wickets. Rademeyer was a lower-order batsman for the Namibian team who was also selected to play during a March 2000 triangular tournament, as well as a South African quadranglar tournament, but failed to make appearances for the side on both occasions.
