- Renessiance castle in Galanta
Residency of Esterházy family, nowadays serves as a part of regional museum in
Slovakia . The manor was built in 1860 on previous basements. Its architecture is from romantic englad Tudors gothik era. It was set in a park. Groundfloor serves for wedding ceremonies and for mayors representational activities, basement holds culture and social activities, and first floor serves as gallery and for museum purposes. The mansion belonged to the Esterhýzy family, which was proimnent aristocratic family in Hungary. It was built at the end of 16th century. Its original two-wing disposition is with small changes still present. Attached to the main entrance of the mansion was small tower - is slightly higher than mansion, and it is was decorated with renesance attik, which covered its low roof. Building had richly and colourfully decorated fasades with big symethric windows.
