Bernard Sydney Sadler better known as Joey Sadler (born

Sadler played club rugby for the Wellington College Old Boys and made a Wellington representative side in his first season. He played in both tests in theBledisloe Cup against the Wallabies in 1936. Unfortunately, he damaged a nerve in hisknee early in 1937 to such an extent that he never played rugby again.
