Francisco Mendes is famous Portuguese Tv host,that currently is employed in RTP Portugal.Francisco is a very known TV-host and also singer. Presently he presents the Portuguese charts. Curiosity: Francisco’s father - the singer and musician Carlos Mendes - represented Portugal in Eurovision Song Contest twice: in 1968 with the song “Verão” (11th place) and in 1972 with “A Festa da Vida” (7th place).Francisco Mendes is the spokesman chosed by RTP. This information was confirmed yesterday during the reception organized by the Embassy of Finland in Lisbon to the Portuguese delegation in Eurovision Song Contest. In 2006, the Portuguese votes were given by Cristina Alves.
