Harinath Policharla

Harinath Policherla is a Doctor turned actor currently residing in India. He lived the past 20 years in the state of Michigan and is a Doctor turned actor. He owns 29 % stake in Global Hospitals, India.

Dr. Policherla received his Neurology Training from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, with a subspecialty in sleep medicine, clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy. Board certified in all of the above, he is also actively involved in the Neurology Department of St. John's Hospital. His special practice areas include: Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, migraines, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and sleep disorders.

His debut movie was "Alex" which also co-stars Rambha, Sangeeta and Kausha. Despite his incredible acting, the movie received bad reviews because of a poor storyline and screenplay.

His next big hit movie - Chandrahas was inspired by Indiana Jones and contains an interesting blend of the best of Hollywood and Bollywood. Dr. Harinath received both critical and mass approval for his stupendous performance as the protagonist. His performance was on par, if not better than seasoned actors like Sarath Babu and superstar Krishna. His mind boggling acting sequences, comic timing, romantic chemistry and dialog delivery has captured the imagination of his ever growing fans, earning him the title 'Rising Star'.
