Bill Mundy

Dr. Bill Mundy is widely recognized as one of the leading authorities in real estate appraisal in the United States ["Journal of the Japan Real Estate Institute", 2003] . Formerly the land economist for Weyerhaueser Corporation, in 1976 he founded Mundy Associates, now known as Greenfield Advisors. He is a fellow of the Weimer School of Advanced Real Estate and Land Economics Studies, a former chairman of the board of the Real Estate Counseling Group of America, and is credited with introducing the concept of stigma into the real estate appraisal lexicon [David Lenhoff, Nine Big Ideas: Appraisal Journal Articles That Influenced a Generation, "The Appraisal Journal", January, 2007] .

Mundy is a graduate of Washington State University and holds a Ph.D. in business from the University of Washington. He is the author or co-author of numerous books, chapters, and journal articles in real estate, most recently "Environmental Valuation" with Dr. John I. Carruthers.
