Sharon D. Allen (OARDEC)

Colonel Sharon D. Allen is an officer in the United States Army, who served as the Tribunal President of the Combatant Status Review Tribunals (CSRTs) of Guantanamo captives held in extrajudicial detention in the Guantanamo Bay detention camps. The identity of the officers who served on the Tribunals was supposed to be kept secret. When Lt. Col. Stephen Abraham issued a public statement describing his experiences with the CSRTs on June 21, 2007 he was widely described as being the first known tribunal officer. Technically however, Allen was the first known officer since the CSRT of Mohamed Rahim had failed to redact Allen's name from the proceedings.
