Differences to Super Series

The tournament follows the format of the Super Series tournament. There is no nationality separation, so players from same country may meet in the early round.

Because the tournament is one level lower than Super Series, the prize pot is smaller. Currently, the minimum prize money for Grand Prix Gold is US$120,000, and US$50,000 for Grand Prix events. The distribution is identical.
