Harry Marcy Coudrey (
February 28 ,1867 -July 5 ,1930 ) was a U.S. Representative fromMissouri .Born in
Brunswick, Missouri , Coudrey moved with his parents to St. Louis, Missouri, in 1878.He attended the public schools of Brunswick and St. Louis and was graduated from the Manual Training School at St. Louis in 1886.Coudrey was elected a member of the municipal house of delegates of St. Louis and served from 1897 to 1899, inclusive.He became interested in various business enterprises in St. Louis.He successfully contested as a Republican the election of Ernest E. Wood to the Fifty-ninth Congress.He was reelected to the Sixtieth and Sixty-first Congresses and served from
June 23 ,1906 , toMarch 3 ,1911 .He was not a candidate for renomination in 1910 to the Sixty-second Congress.He moved to New York City in 1911.He engaged in the real estate, insurance, and publishing businesses.He died inNorfolk, Virginia ,July 5 ,1930 .He was interred in Bellefontaine Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.References
