Timothy P. Gordon is a member of the
New York State Assembly . He is the only member of the Independence Party in the New York State Legislature however he is part of the Democratic caucus. He was first elected in 2006 to represent the 108th Assembly district, a traditionally Republican district. The 108th district includes portions of Albany, Greene, Columbia, and Rensselaer counties. Gordon was elected on the Democratic and Independence Party lines in 2006, succeeding retiring Republican Pat Casale. Prior to becoming an Assemblyman, he was elected to the Bethlehem Town Board. He is the firstIndependence Party member elected to theNew York State Assembly .Gordon lives in
Bethlehem, New York with his family.He is a member of the
Albany Curling Club and the Fireman’s Association of the State of New York.He is a 1978 graduate of
Shaker High School , and in 1982 graduated from SUNY Brockport.External links
