Interchurch Organisation for Development Cooperation

"Interchurch Organisation for Development Cooperation" (ICCO) - non-profit organization providing assistance to needy communities in organizing sustainable housing and living conditions. Established in 1964 and based in the Netherlands, ICCO recognizes its roots in Dutch Protestant Christian tradition and cooperates in various ecumenical networks.

] ] . There are 838 partner organizations, 1071 projects financed.

ICCO is financed by the Government of Netherlands and the European Commission.

In October, 2001 the institution in partnership with the World Bank and the Rabobank held conference on Aid, Trade and the Fight Against Poverty.
