John Miner . The band was originally put together after his departure from California based progressive rock groupMantra Sunrise . The band's first mission was to perform therock opera Heavens Cafe in Las Vegas in 1996. Miner followed up with A Passage to Clear in 1999 and both recordings were released on the [http://www.tributarymusic.com Tributary Music Label] in 2000. Miner recruited new members in the early 2000s and with the collaboration of writing partner [http://www.nolanstolz.com Nolan Stolz] released a double CD titled "Tell a Vision" in 2005. The band continues to record and perform under the Art Rock Circus moniker.
