names = HIP 8770 b, SAO 148079 b HD 11506 b is a planet that orbits the star HD 11506 176 light years away in the constellation Cetus. This planet is a low-mass superjovian that orbits 250% the Earth’s distance from the Sun. The orbital period is 3.85 years. The distance ranges from 1.95 AU to 3.05 AU with a variability of 1.1 AU. Dividing the average distance by variable distance, reciprocal and divided by two, we get the eccentricity value of 0.22.

This planet was discovered on April 10, 2007 by Debra Fischer, who used N2K Consortium in California, United States to detect wobbling of the star caused by the planet’s gravity.
