anesthetic . An electric probe is inserted into therectum adjacent to theprostate . The probe delivers a slight electric current that stimulates nearbynerve s, resulting in contraction of the pelvicmuscle s andejaculation . This procedure is used frequently with large mammals, particularly bulls and some domestic animals, as well as humans who have certain types of paralysis orerectile dysfunction .Application to Endangered Species Conservation
