Sydney , who came to national prominence in the early 1960's through her regular TV appearances on the pop music showBrian Henderson 's "Bandstand" and her many hit records.As a young performer she was "by lined" as "The Cowgirl from Granville" but on her first appearance on "Bandstand" it was mis-announced as "The
