Breakdown
On 8th October 2008, Fizz, Channel U & Clubland TV all suffered major technical hitches. Fizz being the worst out of all 3.
Fizz was showing a blank video screen with only the video selection numbers appearing on rotation constantly. The channel, which is normally fixed within an hour was still showing no music videos the next day (9th October) until 7.00pm approximately. On return, the channel still suffered technical glitches during the night with videos & competition promos having to be reset sometimes.
Fizz suffered more technical glitches on the Friday (10th October) with the channel being off air again at 4.00pm, with the channel texter 'FIZ' explaining to viewers who were texting in that there were still technical problems that were being fixed whilst they text.
This is the longest, Fizz has suffered technical problems since it started broadcasting.
The technical problems also affected sister channel,
Channel U &Clubland TV . Channel U were most of the time broadcasting videos but with their usual graphics but without their logo on screnn, whilst Clubland TV were suffering out of synch audio / video (even through commercials).References
