Radio(game)

Radio is a children's playground game played by children. The game's history is unknown.

Gameplay

Usually 7, 8 or 9 people are required to play this game (However it is possible to play with 5 or 6 people). Once enough children are found to play the game, they all must sit in a circle. Then a leader (often called "The announcer" or "The disc jockey" because of the title of the game) is selected who must choose two numbers that will be repeated twice and start the game. If the leader chooses 2 and 9, then the leader must start the game by saying 2-2-9-9 (said two, two, nine, nine). Then the person next to the leader (The children may select if they want to go clockwise or counter-clockwise) will repeat the second number for his/her first number and pick his or her number (For example 9-9-4-4) and then send the focous of the game on the next player. The next player will then pick his/her number (4-4-7-7) and pass the combination on to the next player. A player is "out" or eliminated when the player forgets the last number of the player before him or her (For example if the previous person picked 1 as his number and the new player thinks it is 7, he/she is out).
