Small Faces discography

The following is a discography of official albums and singles released by the band Small Faces.

Small Faces were an English mod band formed in 1965 ["band formed in 1965" [http://www.channel4.com/music/music-core/album.jsp?albumId=479631] ] by Steve Marriott, Ronnie Lane, Kenney Jones, and Jimmy Winston (who was soon replaced by Ian McLagan). Heavily influenced by American Rhythm and blues, they later evolved into one of the UK's most successful psychedelic acts before disbanding in 1969. Despite the fact that they were only together four years, Small Faces music output from the mid to late sixties remains amongst the most acclaimed British mod and psychedelic music of that era. Allmusic refers to them as "The best English band never to make it big in America." Filmography

The Small Faces appeared as themselves in the British movie "Dateline Diamonds". They also appeared in the 1960s U.K. documentary called "My Generation". Steve Marriott has also appeared in many films unrelated to The Small Faces.
