Roadkill Bill

Roadkill Bill is a comic strip created by Ken Avidor.The cartoon has an anti-car theme and frequently advocates the theories of Ivan Illich [ [http://www.utne.com/issues/2005_130/short_takes/11708-1.html Discussion] by Leif Utne.] .

The main character, Roadkill Bill, is a squirrel with distinctive tire tracks across his torso and tail.

The cartoon ran weekly for nearly four years in the Twin Cities alternative newspaper, "Pulse of the Twin Cities" and has been published by Carbusters Magazine [ [http://www.carbusters.org/press/index.php Carbusters Magazine] ] , proponents of the car-free movement, as well as Funny Times [ [http://www.funnytimes.com/faves.php Funny Times "faves"] ] .
