"Stowarzyszenie Umarłych dusz czyli traumo-pocieszne przygody Znicza Deathsoul" is a Polish book by Maciek Kur published in 2006. The title translates as "The Association of Dead Souls or the Traumatically-Cheerful Adventures of Znicz Deathsoul".

The book centers around a character called Znicz Deathsoul, a 27-year-old demon-hunter from a small Polish town Memoriałowo and his sister Justyna.

The world in the book is very grotesque, cartoonish and full of black humor. Many mythological and religious characters make an appearance in the book, such as God,Siva, Eris, Hades, Dis Pater and the devil Mephistopheles.

Main characters

* Znicz Deathsoul - a demon hunter for hire.
* Justyna Deathsoul - Znicz' sister. She has a very childish personality.
* Jakub "Kubuś" Nasz – A friend of Znicz who's obsessed with fantasy books. He refers to himself as a theologist, philosopher, necromantic and druid.
* Marek – A priest who hates Znicz
* Komandos (Polish for Commando) – a homeless veteran and a friend of Znicz. He is refereed as Commando only and his real name is unknown.
* Natalia – A blind artist, Znicz' friend.
* Sylvia - A 8 years old fairy With a magic flute
* Mephistopheles – A evil devil, based on the villain from Faust .

Trivia

* In Chapter Four two mermaids are named "Persilka" and "Wizirka". This is joke referring to Disney's Little Mermaid. The Polish name of Ariel (the main mermaids from the movie) is Arielka. Ariel, Persil and Vizir are popular washing powders in Poland.
