nihongo|Masafumi Gotō|後藤 正文|Gotō Masafumi (December 2, 1976) is the lead singer, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter of the Japanese rock band Asian Kung-Fu Generation. Masafumi met fellow band members Kensuke Kita and Takahiro Yamada while attending a music club of Kanto Gakuin University. The three formed Asian Kung-Fu Generation in 1996, with drummer Kiyoshi Ijichi joining the band shortly after. Asian Kung Fu Generation has written many songs, including the hit song "Rewrite", which was an opening song for the anime "Fullmetal Alchemist". They have also written the song "Haruka Kanata," the second opening theme for the anime and series "Naruto", and "After Dark," the seventh opening theme for the anime and manga series "Bleach".
