Venu .V. Desam (born 1959 in Desam, Aluva, Kerala, India) is a Malayalam poet, currently working in the government department. He has written first gazals in Malayalam and translated different works of various classic writers into Malayalam, including those of Fyodor Dostoevsky, Schopenhauer, Leo Tolstoy, Khalil Gibran, Osho, Jiddu Krishnamurti, and Vladimir Korolenko.
