During his career with his brother Razif, they won several local and international championship titles. The most memorable was when he became the youngest player to win the All England Championship title in 1982.After he retired as badminton player, he established a badminton club to find talented new players, called
Nusa Mahsuri Club , which he has been an advisor to since 1996. He was also responsible in grooming the Hashim brothers, Roslin and Hafiz to become Malaysian national badminton players.Honours
