Tamara Lorincz (nee Modry) was born March 17, 1969 in
Edmonton , Alberta. She spent most of her childhood inMontreal , Quebec andPalo Alto , California before moving back to Edmonton in her early teens. She earned aBachelor of Arts inCriminology at theUniversity of Alberta and aBachelor of Commerce from theUniversity of Victoria including a minor in French Studies. In 2003, she earned aMasters of Business Administration and a Law Degree fromDalhousie University in Halifax.In addition to English, Lorincz can speak French and Japanese.
